PAARI, the Police Addiction Assistance Recovery Initiative. PAARI is a community policing movement to create non-arrest pathways to treatment and recovery. PAARI, Hope Not Handcuffs Hudson Valley, and our law enforcement partners are working towards a collective vision where non-arrest diversion programs become a standard community policing practice across the country, thereby reducing overdose deaths, expanding access to treatment, improving public safety, reducing crime, diverting people away from the criminal justice system, and increasing trust between law enforcement and their communities.

Police Treatment Community Collaborative (PTACC). PTACC is a nonprofit organization that promotes and supports deflection and pre-arrest diversion programs that connect people in crisis with behavioral health and social services

FAN, Face Addiction Now (formerly Families Against Narcotics) is an organization dedicated to championing the power of compassion and respect in the recovery from substance use disorder. Through a comprehensive suite of free programs, educational initiatives, and resources, they provide a continuum of care that creates pathways to recovery and prevention. As a beacon of hope and knowledge, they guide individuals, families, and communities toward a future of health and well-being, reshaping the narrative around addiction with empathy and understanding.

FAN, centered in Michigan, is the birthplace of the Hope Not Handcuffs program. Hope Not Handcuffs operates in 140 law enforcement agencies in Michigan, and 65 in New York.
